OCTOBER 2026
Fixed billing cancellation date display
We fixed an issue where the cancellation date shown on your Billing page wasn't always accurate. When you schedule a subscription cancellation, the page now correctly displays when your subscription will end, making it easier to plan accordingly.
View Your Purchased Add-ons on the Billing Page
We've added a new section to your Billing page that displays all add-ons you've purchased. This card shows each add-on's name, price, purchase date, and current status (Active or Refunded), giving you a complete overview of your account's purchased items alongside your membership information.
Fixed add-on checkout errors for sold-out and already-owned items
We've fixed an issue where users could encounter confusing error messages when trying to purchase add-ons that were either sold out or already owned by their account. Now you'll receive clear, helpful error messages that explain why a purchase can't be completed and suggest checking back later for sold-out items.
Prevent Duplicate Payment Cards from Being Saved
We've fixed an issue where the system would allow you to save the same payment card multiple times. Now when you try to add a card that's already saved to your account, the system will detect it and show you a clear message instead of creating a duplicate entry.
Fixed email links in application approval notifications
We fixed an issue where email links sent to applicants when their applications were approved or during the application process were pointing to incorrect environments. This was causing 404 errors when users tried to click through from their approval emails. Now all email links are correctly routed to the appropriate environment where the studio data actually exists.
Fixed billing status and feedback actions during plan changes
We fixed two issues that were causing problems when switching between plans. First, when you switched plans, your billing information wasn't updating properly until you manually refreshed the page. Second, feedback actions were remaining available even when your plan reassignment was still being processed. Both issues are now resolved.
Fixed issue where cancelled subscriptions remained active
We fixed a problem where subscriptions that were cancelled would sometimes still appear as active in your account. This could happen if a subscription was cancelled outside of the normal flow. Now when a subscription is cancelled, it properly updates everywhere so you won't see conflicting status information.
SEPTEMBER 2026
Improved Payment Method Setup for Studios
We've fixed an issue where studios that haven't completed their payment setup could encounter confusing error messages when trying to add payment methods. Now, studios will receive a clear, actionable message explaining what needs to be done before they can accept payments, and team members will be prevented from attempting payment setup prematurely.
Improved Cohort Creation with Better Validation and Date Restrictions
We've improved the cohort creation and editing experience with clearer validation rules and helpful feedback. Cohort names are now limited to 80 characters and descriptions to 500 characters, with live character counters showing you how much space you have left. Start and end dates are now required fields, and you can't set an end date in the past or before the start date.
Track Member Acquisition Sources and View Campaign Attribution
We now track how members discover your studio—whether through ads, search engines, or direct referrals—and display this information in your members list and member details. This helps you understand which marketing campaigns are driving signups and measure the effectiveness of your promotional efforts.
Add-on Plans: Create and Manage One-Time Purchases
Studio admins can now create add-on plans—one-time purchases members buy on top of their membership to unlock extra content like courses or masterclasses. The admin interface has been updated to distinguish between recurring memberships and add-ons, and member profiles now display purchase history for tracking.
Improved access to add-on content plans
We've updated how content access is determined for members who purchase add-on plans. Members can now access content from any plan they hold—whether through their membership or through individual add-on purchases—rather than just their primary membership plan. This ensures all your purchased content is properly unlocked across the platform.
Monthly Feedback Credits Now Properly Disabled on Free Plans
We've fixed an issue where monthly feedback credits could be incorrectly configured on free membership plans. The system now properly prevents this configuration at both the user interface and backend levels, ensuring free plans work as intended without feedback credit features.
One-off Membership Refunds Now End Access
When a studio owner refunds a one-time membership payment, the member's access is now automatically revoked. Previously, refunded members would retain access indefinitely. Members can see their refunded purchase status on their billing page and rejoin by purchasing a plan again.
Split Payments Option Removed
We've removed the split payments (installment) option from plan creation. This payment method had limitations and is no longer available. Studios can no longer create new plans with split payments, and members cannot purchase plans using this payment method. For flexible payment options, we recommend using Klarna or Clearpay on standard one-time payment prices.
One-off purchases now display correctly on your billing page
Members who purchased a one-off plan now see their purchase clearly displayed with payment details, instead of seeing subscription management options that don't apply to them. The billing page now shows the correct information for one-off purchases, including when you paid and confirmation that nothing will be charged again.
Buy one-off coaching plans as an existing subscriber
Existing Studio subscribers can now purchase one-off plans (like individual 1:1 coaching sessions) directly through a secure checkout experience. Previously, this wasn't possible for members with active subscriptions. When you buy a one-off plan, your existing subscription will wind down at the end of your current billing period, and you'll transition to your new one-off plan.
Improved Bulk Invoice Download and Print Experience
We've improved how you download and print multiple invoices at once. Instead of opening each invoice in a separate tab (which could be blocked by popup blockers), bulk downloads now create a single ZIP file and bulk printing merges all invoices into one PDF for printing. This makes managing multiple invoices faster and more reliable.
Improved Google Analytics Purchase Tracking for Stripe Subscriptions
We fixed an issue where purchase events weren't reliably being tracked in Google Analytics when users completed Stripe subscription payments. Purchase tracking now happens server-side from payment confirmation, ensuring it's captured regardless of cookie consent settings or whether users return to the success page. We've also added a new Google Analytics API Secret field in the integrations settings to enable this reliable server-side tracking.
Improved invite checkout experience and UI refinements
We've improved the experience for team members who are invited to join a studio. When invited members log in and are directed to checkout, their email is now automatically prefilled so they don't have to type it again. We've also made several UI improvements throughout the app, including better formatting in custom links, clearer permission messages, and improved visual consistency.
Fixed Duplicate Error Messages in Studio Payments Setup
We've resolved an issue where Studio users would see duplicate error messages when setting up Stripe Connect for payments. Additionally, we fixed a problem where the 'Go to your Studio' link could redirect to the wrong environment (production instead of testing). The Stripe payment requirement messages are now displayed more clearly without repetition, making it easier to understand what steps you need to complete.
Fixed login issue for newly approved free plan members
We've resolved an issue where newly approved free plan members couldn't log in to their studio accounts. Previously, approved members would receive an error message saying they weren't members of the studio, even though their access had been granted. This fix ensures that login permissions update correctly immediately after approval.
Fixed paid plan invitations now require payment before access
We fixed an issue where invited members assigned to paid plans could access the studio without completing payment. Now, all invited members (whether on trial or paid plans) must complete the checkout process and make payment before gaining access to the studio. This ensures studios are properly compensated when inviting members to paid plans.
Fixed Payment Setup Redirect Issues
We've fixed an issue where studio owners were being redirected to a login page instead of the payment setup page when trying to enable payments. Now, when you click 'Enable Payments' from anywhere in your studio, you'll be taken directly to the payment setup page with the correct context, so you can start accepting subscriptions without any extra steps.
Fixed member limit counting for studio signups
We fixed an issue where established studios with a history of cancelled memberships could be incorrectly locked out of accepting new members. Now only current active members count toward your studio's member limit, allowing new signups to proceed as expected based on your actual current membership.
AUGUST 2026
Interactive Studio Earnings Calculator Added
We've added an interactive earnings calculator to help you estimate potential monthly revenue from your Studio. Adjust member count, subscription price, and add-on services to see real-time earnings projections based on actual Trackstack studio data. The calculator appears on the Studio landing page and includes detailed information about how estimates are calculated.
Fixed login flow for existing free plan members
Existing members who tried to rejoin a free plan through the public signup link were previously stuck with an error message and no way to access their account. We've fixed this by now showing a clear message and offering a direct login button, matching the behavior of our paid plan signup flow.
Manage Free Plans Without Stripe Connection
Studio owners can now view and manage their plans page even without connecting Stripe. Free plans are fully functional and ready to use immediately. To create paid plans and accept member payments, owners will see a clear prompt to connect their Stripe account with a direct link to complete the setup.
Plan changes now instantly reflect in open tabs
When your membership plan changes through Stripe (such as scheduled downgrades or plan switches), your open browser tabs now immediately refresh to show your updated access. Previously, you had to manually reload to see changes take effect.
Channel and event access now updates instantly when membership changes
Previously, if you changed your membership plan or were added/removed from a cohort while you had the studio open in a tab, your channel sidebar and event list wouldn't update until you manually refreshed the page. Now these changes appear immediately in your open session, just like they do after a page reload.
Member Cohorts Now Fully Functional
Member cohorts are now complete and ready to use end-to-end. You can create cohorts, add members individually or in bulk, and use them to gate channel access. The Cohorts section is now easily accessible from the admin sidebar, and all operations have been thoroughly tested and validated.
JULY 2026
Bug fixes for studio owners: coach pages, credits, cancellations, and more
We've fixed five bugs affecting studio owners, with particular improvements for free plan users. Coach pages now show only video content, free plan members receive feedback credits properly, studio owners get notified when members cancel through Stripe, plan archiving works reliably, and the Elevate navigation has been restored for studios with Elevate stores.
Fixed Subscribe Page Redirect Error
We've fixed an issue where the Subscribe page would sometimes redirect to a page that didn't exist, causing a 404 error. The page now correctly determines whether to show your landing page or the subscription options, preventing these broken redirects.
Improved Member Management: Better Handling of Incomplete Payments
We've improved how incomplete payments are handled in your member management. Members who abandon their payment process are now properly cleaned up and won't clutter your member list, while those still within their payment window remain visible under a dedicated 'Incomplete' section. Members can now successfully rejoin after a failed payment attempt.
Manage free membership plans without Stripe
Studio owners can now access the Applications tab and manage free membership plans even if they haven't connected a Stripe account yet. This lets you invite members and build your community before setting up payments.
Improved Member Visibility and Data Consistency
We've fixed an issue where newly invited or onboarded studio members weren't showing up correctly in member lists and plan management pages. Members created through various signup and invitation flows are now properly displayed with their correct subscription status across all admin interfaces.
Plan Content Selection Now Shows All Your Posts, Channels, and Resources
We've fixed a bug where the plan creation wizard and plan details page were only showing the newest 200 posts, channels, or resources from your studio library. If you had more than 200 items of any type, older content was missing from the selection screen. Now you'll see your complete library so you can assign access to all your content.
Fixed: Deleted Members Now Properly Hidden Across the App
When you deleted a member in the admin panel, they would reappear after refreshing the page. This has been fixed—deleted members are now properly hidden everywhere they appear in the app, including member lists, team rosters, author pickers, and notification/email systems.
Fixed frozen confirmation modal on member management
We've resolved an issue where studio owners attempting to delete a team member would see a confirmation dialog that was completely unresponsive and appeared frozen. The same issue also affected the 'Switch Plan' and 'Cancel Subscription' dialogs in the member management drawer. You can now click these action confirmations without any problems.
Fixed: Staff invites no longer incorrectly assigned membership plans
We've fixed an issue where staff members (Admins, Coaches, and Guest Coaches) were being assigned membership plans when invited to studios. Now, only Members receive membership plan assignments during invitations, while staff roles are correctly set up without a plan. This ensures proper account setup and prevents billing or access issues.
Fixed member onboarding getting stuck in a loop
We've fixed an issue where new team members completing their onboarding would get stuck seeing the onboarding screen over and over, even though their profile information was being saved. New members can now successfully complete onboarding and access the studio on their first try.
JUNE 2026
Fixed membership issues for new invitations and plan changes
We've resolved critical issues that prevented new members from logging in after accepting free plan invitations and fixed problems when switching to a free plan. Members switching from paid to free plans will no longer experience unexpected billing issues.
MAY 2026
Fixed issue allowing cancelled members to rejoin Studio for free
We've fixed a bug that allowed members with cancelled subscriptions to bypass payment and access Studio on the free plan. Subscription checks are now enforced correctly at sign-up and when joining a free plan. Elevate order access is also gated properly for eligible members.
Subscription list access restricted to studio owners and admins
We've fixed a security issue where subscription information for a studio could be accessed without being logged in or having the right permissions. Now only verified owners and admins of a studio can view its subscription details. This keeps your studio's billing and membership data visible only to the people who should see it.
MARCH 2026
Ability for Studio Owners and Incomplete Members to Cancel Subscriptions
Studio owners and members with incomplete subscriptions can now directly cancel their subscriptions without going through Stripe. This allows more flexibility for managing subscription status.
Improved Subscription Experience for Trial Users
We've made changes to ensure that users on a trial subscription plan can access the full content experience after completing their checkout process. This helps provide a seamless onboarding experience for new trial users.
Improved login experience and subscription management
We've made improvements to the login and subscription management flow, making it easier for users to sign in and manage their subscription status.
Redirect invited trial plan members to Stripe checkout on first login
Users who were invited to a trial plan will now be redirected straight to the Stripe checkout flow on their first login, instead of going through the standard onboarding process. This ensures a smoother experience for these users.
Trial subscription cancellations now work reliably
We've fixed an issue that was preventing some users from being able to cancel their trial subscriptions. This update ensures that trial cancellations are now processed correctly.
Fixed display of $0.00 last payment amount during free trial
We've fixed an issue where the last payment amount would incorrectly display as $0.00 during a free trial period. This should now show the correct information.
