We've made improvements to our email notification system to ensure all emails respect the user's inbox-level notification preferences. This means users will only receive the emails they've opted in to, providing a more personalized and controlled experience.

New notification display in the app header
We've added a new notifications feature to the app header. Users can now see how many unread notifications they have and access the notifications popover to view and manage their notifications.

You can now customize the email notifications you receive for each inbox, including options for submission confirmations, status changes, and Spotlight activity.
Improved Spotlight Notifications
We've fixed several critical issues with Spotlight notifications, including missing detail pages, inconsistent email preferences, and performance problems. You can now access full details on Spotlight events, control your email preferences, and expect faster and more reliable notifications.
OCTOBER 2025
Improved notifications experience with direct access to activity
We've added a new 'See all activity' button to the notifications popover, making it easier for users to quickly access the full list of their recent activity. We've also improved the synchronization between the popover and the main notifications page to ensure a seamless experience.
Mark all notifications as read
You can now mark all your notifications as read with a single click. This makes it easier to keep your notifications tidy and up-to-date.
Improved notification messages for track actions
The notifications shown in the popover (bell icon 🔔) will now display specific action messages, such as 'Declined [track]', 'Supporting [track]', or 'Confirmed [track] for release', instead of the generic 'Review status changed for [track]' message.
Shortcut added to updates page from notifications
We've added a new 'See all activity' shortcut at the bottom of the notifications popover that lets you quickly navigate to the updates page to view all your recent activity.
Email notification settings updated
We've updated the backend to provide more control over email notification preferences for workspace users. Users can now customize which events trigger email notifications for their inboxes.
Emails for new submissions are now working again
We've fixed an issue that was preventing users from receiving email notifications when new submissions were received in their inboxes. Users will now be notified by email when a new submission is added to their inbox.

Fixed cancellation email date
We have fixed an issue where the cancellation email was showing an incorrect date for when the subscription will end.
New Product Announcements and Improved Inbox Layout
We've added the ability for admins to create and publish product announcements. These announcements will be displayed in a new, enhanced inbox layout to help users stay up to date on the latest product updates.
