NOVEMBER 2026
Fixed downloads appearing on cancelled or refunded orders
Previously, when an order was refunded or cancelled, the store order page would still show a 'Download pack' button. Clicking it would lead to a bare error message. Now, the download section properly shows a clear message explaining that the order is no longer active instead of offering a broken link.
OCTOBER 2026
View and download sample pack ZIPs directly from the builder
Store owners can now see when a sample pack has an attached ZIP file, including its filename and size. A new card displays this information in the Samples section of the product editor, and provides a direct download link so you can verify the exact ZIP that will be delivered to buyers.
Sample pack pages no longer show '0 samples' for ZIP-delivered packs
We fixed an issue where sample packs delivered as a single ZIP file with a preview were incorrectly displaying '0 samples' on their product pages and cards. This made complete, ready-to-use packs appear empty. Now, packs without individual sample listings won't show a sample count at all, while packs with individual samples continue to display their count normally.
SoundCloud preview links for sample packs
Store owners can now add a SoundCloud link to their sample packs as a backup preview. If a pack doesn't have Trackstack's own audio preview, shoppers will hear a SoundCloud player instead; if it does, a small 'Listen on SoundCloud' link appears alongside it.
Quick access to all music platforms from release cards
Release cards in the store catalog now display a row of platform icons at the bottom, allowing you to listen on Spotify, Apple Music, Beatport, SoundCloud, YouTube, Bandcamp, Tidal, Amazon Music, and more—all directly from the catalog without visiting the release detail page. Each icon opens in a new tab, so you can explore multiple platforms while keeping your place.
Store cover photo uploads no longer get cropped into a square
Uploading a wide cover image for your Store (in settings or during onboarding) used to force it into a square crop, which then stretched oddly to fill the wide banner. Now your image uploads as-is and displays correctly across the full-width banner without distortion.
Refund and cancellation messages now appear in order conversations
Store owners can now see refund and order cancellation messages directly in the order conversation thread. When a store owner issues a refund or cancels an order, a note is automatically posted to the conversation showing the action taken, the amount refunded (if applicable), and any reason provided. This ensures both the store owner and customer see these important order updates in the same place rather than just in notifications or emails.
SEPTEMBER 2026
Better error messages when publishing products with missing required fields
When creating a new product in Elevate, if you click the Publish button without filling in required fields, you'll now see clear error messages telling you exactly what's missing—instead of the button silently not responding. For example, you'll see messages like "Title is required" or "Session duration is required" so you know exactly what to fix.
Sample Pack Preview Now Shows Playback Progress
When you play a preview of a sample pack, you'll now see a timer showing how far through the preview you are (for example, "0:07 / 0:30"). The timer appears next to the "Playing preview" label and updates as you listen, then disappears when playback ends. This makes it clear the preview is actually playing and gives you visibility into how much longer the clip will run.
Video playback now available immediately after purchase
Fixed an issue where purchased videos would show an "unavailable" error on the order confirmation page, even though the purchase was successful. Videos now display properly within seconds of completing your purchase. If payment is still being confirmed, you'll see a clear message letting you know the video will unlock shortly.
Fixed Stripe Connect setup for testing environment and improved error messages
We've fixed an issue where store owners on our testing environment were being redirected to the wrong login page after completing Stripe Connect setup during onboarding. We've also improved error messages so you'll now see clearer feedback if something goes wrong during the Stripe connection process, both in onboarding and in Settings.
Stripe payment setup now works for merchants in Brazil and Malaysia
Brazilian and Malaysian merchants can now successfully set up Stripe payments during store onboarding. Previously, the system only offered one account type that Stripe rejected for these countries. Now, merchants in these regions are automatically guided through Stripe's standard account linking process, which works properly for their location.
Theme changes now show confirmation and prevent errors
When you change your storefront theme in settings, you'll now see a confirmation message letting you know the change was successful. If something goes wrong, the theme will automatically revert to the previous setting and show you an error message so you know what happened.
Cancel orders in processing state from inbox
You can now cancel orders that are in processing status directly from your inbox, just like you could with pending or paid orders. Additionally, when you delete a video feedback message, the inbox will now refresh immediately instead of waiting up to 30 seconds for the card to disappear.
Improved Order Management for In-Progress Work
We've fixed several issues where orders marked as 'in progress' by store admins weren't being treated consistently across the platform. Digital downloads, order counts, refunds, and video playback now all work correctly whether an order is paid or in progress. Store admins can now properly cancel in-progress orders with automatic refunds, just like paid orders.
Fixed messaging display issue where customer replies were hidden or replaced
We've fixed a bug that was causing store owner replies to disappear or be replaced by welcome messages when customers had multiple orders. All messages now display correctly in both the Messages and Video tabs, and video uploads no longer show duplicate bubbles.
Reorder Products by Dragging — No More Delete and Re-add
Store owners can now reorder products directly in the Products dashboard by dragging each product card to a new position. The new order appears immediately and is saved automatically. Previously, the only way to change product order was to delete and re-add them.
Customer Order Page Now Respects Your Store's Dark Theme
The customer order confirmation page now correctly applies your store's dark theme setting, just like the rest of your storefront. Previously, this page would always display in light mode regardless of your theme preference. Additionally, we've improved the readability of labels throughout the page in light mode.
Fixed basket clearing issue after order confirmation
We've fixed a bug where items in your basket would sometimes remain after you completed a purchase. Previously, if the payment confirmation took a moment to process or if you navigated away from the order page quickly, your completed order items could reappear in your basket on your next visit. Now they're properly cleared immediately after checkout.
Order Status Now Updates in Real-Time When Store Owner Provides Feedback
Previously, when a store owner saved feedback on your order, the status tracker on your order page didn't update to show "In Progress." Now it does. Your order page will also automatically refresh every 30 seconds while your order is active, so you'll see status updates right away without having to manually refresh.
Sample Pack Previews: Upload or Auto-Generate a 30-Second Demo
Sample pack creators can now upload a custom preview audio file or automatically generate a 30-second montage from their samples with one click. Shoppers see the pack preview front-and-center on the product page and can play it before purchasing. Sample-by-sample previews have been replaced with this single, pack-level preview.
Sample Pack Previews: Auto-Generated 30-Second Demos
Sample packs now feature a single pack-level preview that buyers can listen to before purchasing. Sellers can upload their own demo, or the system automatically creates a 30-second montage from the pack's samples. This gives potential customers a better sense of what they're buying without needing to purchase first.
Refund and order cancellation now show clear confirmation messages
When you process a refund or cancel an order in your inbox, you'll now see a clear success or failure message. Previously, successful refunds would silently close the dialog with no confirmation, and failed refunds would leave the dialog open with no feedback. Now you'll always know whether your action completed or what went wrong.
Store Preview Button Now Opens Your Store
Fixed an issue where clicking the "Visit Store" button in the Listing preview (found in Settings) wasn't working. The button now properly opens your store in a new tab, allowing you to see how your listing appears to customers.
Multi-item Orders Now Display Complete Details in Inbox
Store owners can now see all items in orders containing multiple products (like track packs with sessions). Order cards show a summary of everything purchased, the sidebar displays itemized details with quantities and totals, and service work completion is now tracked separately from session scheduling. Single-item orders work exactly as before.
Shopping Cart & Checkout Experience
We've added a full shopping basket feature to the store, letting you add multiple products (digital downloads, mastering services, and session bookings) before checking out together. You can now review everything in one place, hold session slots while you shop, and complete payment all at once instead of checking out item by item.
Download Counter and Warning System for Sample Packs and Releases
When you download sample packs or releases from your order, you'll now see exactly how many downloads you've used out of your limit. The system will warn you when you're running low on downloads and prevent further downloads once you've reached your limit, helping you manage your downloads more intentionally.
Track Names Now Displayed in Digital Purchase Review
When purchasing digital products like releases and sample packs, you'll now see the complete list of tracks or samples included with your purchase in the Review & Pay summary. Previously, this information wasn't displayed, making it harder to verify exactly what you were buying before completing your order.
You can now unpublish products from your store
Store owners can now easily unpublish live products and return them to draft status. You'll find an unpublish button in the product editor and next to each published product in your products list. When you unpublish a product, it stops appearing in your store and customers can't place new orders for it, though existing orders remain unaffected.
Streamlined Storefront & Demo Store Removed
We've cleaned up our codebase by removing unused design files and the demo store. All store functionality remains the same—you'll notice faster load times and improved stability. The demo store has been replaced with a link to our professionals directory.
Fixed text visibility in dark mode checkout and upload
We fixed an issue where text was difficult or impossible to read in dark-themed stores during checkout and file upload. Labels, form inputs, and other text elements now display with proper contrast in dark mode, making the ordering experience much clearer.
Fixed: You can now send messages during the 72-hour window after order completion
We've fixed an issue where customers and store owners couldn't send messages after an order was marked complete, even though the system was supposed to allow messaging for 72 hours afterward. Messages were silently failing to send on the customer side, and store owners saw an error. Both sides can now send messages normally during this grace period.
Manage Your Store's Product Categories
Store owners can now create, edit, and organize product categories directly in the app through a new Storefront settings tab. When creating products, you'll see a category selector that automatically filters options based on product type, and products now display their assigned category throughout the app.
Storefront Category Pages & Enhanced Store Navigation
Store owners can now organize their storefronts into browsable categories with dedicated landing pages. Customers see category tiles on the home page (when multiple categories exist), can explore each category's full inventory on its own page, and easily navigate back to categories from individual products.
Storefront Categories for Elevate Stores
Store owners can now organize their products into custom categories (Services, Products, Music) with custom titles, descriptions, and cover images. Each category gets its own dedicated page on the storefront, and live releases can be automatically included in Music categories. Products are automatically assigned to the appropriate category type.
Store Experience Now Standard for All Users
We've finalized the rollout of our improved Store experience by removing the feature flag that was gradually enabling it for users. All stores now use the same modern, streamlined storefront interface with enhanced browsing, search, and checkout capabilities. This means consistent, improved functionality across all stores.
AUGUST 2026
Store Experience Update: Improved Control and Rollback Safety
We've added a safety mechanism that gives us better control over the new store experience rollout. Stores can now opt out of the new experience if needed, and we have an instant global kill switch to revert all stores back to the legacy experience without any downtime. This ensures a smoother, safer transition for everyone.
Unified Store Browsing: Filter and Search Across All Product Types
Stores that sell multiple types of products (services, releases, sample packs, and videos) now display a unified grid view when you filter by type or search. Your default browsing experience stays the same—organized by product type—but filtering and searching now let you browse everything together in one coherent catalog. Search now includes deep product details like track titles, sample names, and video chapters.
Buy Sample Packs and Videos Instantly
You can now purchase sample packs and videos directly through Trackstack with instant access after payment, just like digital releases. The checkout experience is tailored for each product type, with themed pages and immediate downloads or streaming access.
Video Products Now Available – Upload, Preview, and Purchase
We've launched full video product support. Sellers can now upload videos with chapters, buyers see preview clips on storefronts, and purchased videos are accessible with chapter navigation. All video playback is securely signed to protect content.
Sample Packs: Upload, Browse, and Preview Your Audio Collections
Sellers can now create and upload sample packs directly to their store with full support for bulk file uploads, preview clips, and reordering. Buyers can browse sample packs on storefronts, preview individual samples with an integrated audio player, and view detailed pack information before purchase.
Sample Packs and Videos Now Available in Elevate Store
We've expanded the Elevate Store to support two new product types: Sample Packs and Videos. Creators can now sell sample collections with metadata like file format, bit depth, and musical key, as well as video content with chapter markers. Buyers will see these new product types available for purchase alongside existing offerings.
Buy and Download Music Releases Directly from Your Store
Artists can now sell their music releases directly through their Elevate store with instant downloads. Customers can browse release details, purchase with a simple two-step checkout, and immediately download their files from the order confirmation email and order page.
Secure Digital Music Downloads Now Available
You can now download your purchased digital releases directly from your order page. Downloads are secure, time-limited, and include options to download individual tracks or the complete release as a ZIP file. Each purchase includes a download limit to help you manage your files.
New Release Pages and Preview Players Now Available
We've launched dedicated release pages for music releases sold through your store, complete with track previews, release details, and links to listen on Spotify, Apple Music, Beatport, and other platforms. Release cards now appear on your storefront homepage, showcasing your latest music with artwork, release type, and year.
JULY 2026
Digital Music Release Support Now Available
We've expanded our platform to support digital music releases as a new product type. Artists can now create and manage music releases with tracks, artwork, and distribution links to major streaming platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, and more. This is part of our Store & Elevate integration to give creators more ways to share their work.
New Themed Order Confirmation Page
After completing a purchase, you'll now land on a branded confirmation page that shows your order details, what to expect next, and quick access to your session or full order workspace. You can revisit this page anytime using a secure, expiring link from your confirmation email — no account login needed.
Themed Checkout Page in Store Design
We've redesigned the checkout experience to match your store's unique look and feel. When you purchase a service, you'll now see a custom checkout page with your store's accent colors, clear delivery information, and a cleaner payment interface—instead of a generic external payment form.
Store Design System Coming to Elevate
We're preparing the next phase of the Store and Elevate merger by building a unified design system. This update lays the groundwork with new, modern component designs for product cards, audio comparison tools, and service information displays. These changes are currently behind the scenes and will roll out to users in an upcoming release.
Elevate Settings Now Has a Dedicated Full-Screen Settings Page
Elevate settings have been migrated to a modern full-screen settings interface that matches the design and layout of Inbox settings. You'll now access all 8 settings categories (General, Sound Profile, Payments, Integrations, and more) from a cleaner, more organized page at `/workspace/elevate/settings`, with a sidebar for easy navigation and the ability to close with the Escape key.
