Wave 2 Features Now Properly Gated by Workspace Access
We've fixed how Wave 2 features are made available to users. Previously, some advanced features like sample disclosure questions and reference playlists were showing up inconsistently. Now they only appear when your workspace has been granted access to Wave 2, ensuring a consistent experience across all submission forms and settings.
JULY 2026
Improved track played status reliability
We've improved how the app tracks which tracks you've played. Previously, the played status would only update after refreshing the queue. Now it will refresh more reliably when you receive updated data from the server, ensuring your listening history is always accurate.
Removed Duplicate Opening Times Setting
We've cleaned up the Sharing settings by removing a duplicated Opening Times section that was appearing in the wrong place. This simplifies your settings interface and eliminates confusion from having the same option in multiple locations.
Fixed inbox genre settings and improved team member management
We've fixed issues with saving and editing inbox genre filters that could cause settings to be lost. We also improved the reliability of removing team members by ensuring their notifications are properly cleaned up. These changes make genre filtering more stable and team management more secure.
Fixed missing translations for decline confirmation
We fixed an issue where the decline confirmation button was showing a translation key instead of the actual text in some languages. Users will now see properly translated text when confirming to decline tracks, with correct translations added for English and Spanish.
Added confirmation prompt when declining liked tracks
When you thumbs-down a track you've liked in your inbox review list, you'll now see a confirmation prompt asking 'You liked [track]. Are you sure you want to decline?' instead of declining immediately. This gives you a chance to reconsider before removing a track you previously liked.
Cleaner inbox settings with consistent design and auto-save
We've consolidated inbox settings into a single streamlined modal with a consistent, polished design. Settings now have better organized sections, clearer labels, and track expiration automatically saves as you type instead of requiring a manual save button.
Better controls for managing featured tracks
Featured tracks on your inbox profile now have improved controls. You can now easily edit individual tracks or remove them from your featured section using a convenient dropdown menu. This gives you more flexibility in managing which tracks are highlighted on your profile.
Improved submission blocking to prevent uploads when limits are exceeded
We've added an additional safety check to prevent file uploads from starting when you've reached your submission limit. This ensures that your uploads won't begin if your inbox or monthly submission cap has been exceeded, providing a faster and clearer rejection message.
AI-Generated Music Detection for Music Submissions (Beta)
Professional music receiving workspaces can now see whether incoming demo submissions contain AI-generated music. When you open a track detail in your inbox, a new "AI detection" label displays the analysis result—showing if the track is AI-generated with a confidence percentage, or confirming no AI was detected. This feature is available as a beta for eligible subscription tiers.
New keyboard shortcut to open Inbox Settings
We've added a new keyboard shortcut to quickly access your Inbox Settings. Use Cmd+Shift+, (Command+Shift+comma) on macOS to open the settings modal for your active inbox. This replaces the previously unavailable Cmd+, shortcut, which is reserved by your browser.
Settings improvements and inbox privacy fix
We've streamlined and improved the settings experience across inbox-web with better organization, clearer labels, and fixed a privacy issue where inbox visibility wasn't being remembered correctly. All your inbox settings now use a consistent, polished interface with improved feedback when changes are saved.
Fixed track detail header visibility in dark mode
We've fixed an issue where the track detail header was difficult to read in dark mode. The header background now properly adapts to dark mode, making it easier to see and interact with the track information.
Improved inbox selector in share dialog
Fixed a technical issue with the inbox selector dropdown in the share dialog that was causing problems when used within modal windows. The dropdown now works more reliably and responds better to user interactions like clicking outside or pressing Escape.
Fixed double scrollbar in Inbox setup view
We've fixed a visual issue in the Inbox setup view where a double scrollbar was appearing. The setup experience should now look cleaner and more polished without the redundant scrollbar.
Fixed inbox limit banner appearing incorrectly when pausing inboxes
We fixed an issue where the inbox limit warning banner would incorrectly appear when you tried to pause an inbox. Now the limit banner only shows when you attempt to unpause (resume) an inbox and you've reached your plan's active inbox limit. Pausing inboxes works smoothly without unnecessary warnings.
Fixed settings save duplication issue
We fixed a bug where inbox settings would be saved multiple times when opening the settings modal, which could cause duplicate network requests and unnecessary processing. Your settings will now save correctly without these duplicate attempts.
Fixed crash in inbox stack reordering
We've fixed a crash that occurred when using the drag-to-reorder feature with stacked items in your inbox. This issue was preventing users with organized stack-based inboxes from accessing certain features. The app should now work smoothly when managing your inbox stacks.
JUNE 2026
Fixed unwanted clipboard notifications when saving sharing settings
We've removed automatic clipboard toast notifications that were appearing when you saved sharing settings in the inbox. Previously, you might see a "link copied to clipboard" message even when you weren't trying to copy anything, which was confusing and unnecessary.
Fixed issue preventing Pro users from creating a second inbox
We've resolved an issue that was preventing Pro users from creating their second inbox. The system was incorrectly checking inbox creation permissions, which has now been corrected. Pro users can now successfully create multiple inboxes as intended.
Updated track deletion timeline and improved background processing reliability
We've updated the timeline for automatic track deletion in your inbox from 14 days to 21 days, giving you more time before declined tracks are removed. We've also fixed a backend issue that was preventing some tracks from being properly cleaned up when processing batches.
Fixed Default Stack dropdown in Inbox Settings
We've fixed an issue where the default stack dropdown wasn't displaying available stacks in your Inbox settings. The dropdown now properly shows all your stacks and reliably saves your selection when you make changes.
Improved Inbox Pause Message Handling
We've fixed an issue that was causing repeated error messages when saving your inbox pause message. The pause message field now has a character limit and displays a helpful character counter so you can see how much space you're using.
Fixed download tracking for auto-downloaded shortlisted tracks
We fixed an issue where tracks that were automatically downloaded when you shortlisted them weren't being marked as downloaded in your submitter's view. Now when you shortlist a track with auto-download enabled, the submitter will correctly see that the track has been downloaded.
Improved bulk decline action with better feedback on eligible tracks
The bulk decline feature now properly handles cases where all tracks are excluded by filters (like the 'liked by team member' filter). Instead of allowing you to click decline on an empty list, the action is now blocked with a clear message explaining why no tracks are available, and suggesting how to proceed if needed.
Inbox status header now shows latest settings in real-time
The inbox status header (which displays opening times, privacy settings, and other details) now automatically reflects your latest changes without requiring a page refresh. Previously, the header could show outdated information until you refreshed the page.
Sidebar pending counts now update correctly after bulk declining submissions
Fixed an issue where the pending submission count badge in the sidebar wasn't refreshing after you bulk declined multiple submissions. Now when you perform a bulk decline action, the sidebar will immediately show the updated count of pending submissions across your inboxes.
Control Your Bio Visibility on Your Public Submission Page
You now have the ability to show or hide your bio on your public submission page. A new toggle switch in your inbox settings lets you control whether your bio appears when people view your profile before submitting. By default, if you already have a bio, it will continue to show—you can turn it off anytime.
Inbox Bio Formatting Now Displays Correctly Across All Views
We fixed an issue where rich text formatting in inbox bios wasn't displaying properly on the public profile page. Text formatting like lists, headings, and quoted text now appear exactly as they were written in the editor, with proper styling and layout.
Inbox Bio Now Displays Formatting and Links Properly
Inbox owner biographies on the submission page now display with proper formatting, including links, bold text, and line breaks exactly as the owner wrote them. Previously, all formatting was lost and displayed as plain text.
Smoother infinite scroll in your pending queue
Scrolling through a large pending queue is now noticeably smoother and faster. Tracks load earlier as you scroll so you no longer hit a spinner or stutter when approaching the bottom. This improvement is most noticeable in inboxes with hundreds or thousands of submissions.
Inbox pending queue now loads all submissions on scroll
We've fixed a bug where the pending queue in your Inbox would stop loading after the first couple of pages, leaving newer submissions unreachable. You can now scroll through your full pending queue regardless of how many tracks are waiting. The track count shown in your Inbox will also correctly reflect all pending submissions.
Keyboard shortcuts for reviewing tracks restored in Inbox
You can once again use Enter and Backspace keyboard shortcuts to approve or reject tracks while reviewing submissions in Inbox. These shortcuts stopped working after a recent update to the submissions view and have now been restored. Your review workflow is back to full speed without needing to reach for the mouse.
Correct cursor styles in the comment composer
We've fixed an issue in Inbox where the mouse cursor would display incorrectly when hovering over different parts of the comment composer. Clickable elements now show a pointer cursor as expected, and text areas show the correct text cursor. Everything in the comment section should now feel consistent and intuitive to interact with.
Track details now visible when selecting a track in Inbox
We fixed an issue in Inbox where selecting a track would not show its details. You can now click a track and immediately see the full track information as expected. Everything works as it should when browsing and reviewing tracks in your inbox.
Comment composer buttons now display correctly on mobile
We've fixed an issue where the comment composer footer buttons were not displaying properly on mobile devices in Inbox. The buttons and controls now lay out correctly at all screen sizes, making it easier to post and manage comments from your phone.
Bulk action bar now works correctly on mobile in Inbox
We've fixed an issue where the bulk action bar in Inbox was not appearing or behaving correctly on mobile devices. You can now select multiple tracks and take bulk actions on them from your phone just as you would on desktop. Managing your submissions on the go should feel much smoother.
MAY 2026
Find and reach any stack, even when you have a lot of them
You can now scroll through and search all of your stacks when moving a track or browsing the sidebar, no matter how many stacks your workspace has. A search filter appears automatically in move and shortlist menus when you have more than six stacks, and in the sidebar when an inbox has more than eight. Previously, long stack lists were cut off and some stacks were impossible to reach.
Inbox track list now loads all pages on first open
We've fixed an issue where opening an inbox for the first time in a session would only show the first batch of tracks, with no further tracks loading as you scrolled down. This affected secondary inboxes in workspaces with multiple inboxes. Scrolling through your full submission queue now works reliably from the moment you open any inbox.
Offline download and faster pending queue loading in Inbox
You can now download your entire pending queue for offline review with a single click, letting you work through submissions without an internet connection. Large queues also load much faster now, showing your first tracks almost instantly and fetching more as you scroll rather than waiting for everything to load upfront. Actions like declining, shortlisting, and supporting a track now take effect immediately on screen without any delay.
Declined page background display fixed in Inbox
We fixed a visual issue where the Declined section in Inbox had an inconsistent background that didn't match the rest of the page. The background now looks the same as the Expired and Archived sections, giving the whole inbox a consistent appearance.
Track downloads now work offline and are more reliable across all devices
You can now download submission tracks even when your internet connection is unstable or unavailable. We've also improved how downloads work across all devices, removing a previous limitation that affected non-desktop users. If a download runs into trouble, the player will automatically try alternative methods to get the file to you.
Tracks now download automatically when shortlisted in Inbox
We've fixed an issue where tracks were not automatically downloading when you shortlisted or supported them in your Inbox. Previously you may have needed to manually trigger downloads after shortlisting, which interrupted your workflow. Tracks now queue and download as expected as soon as you take action on them.
Downloaded badge now persists across sessions and moves next to the favourite button
The downloaded indicator on tracks in your Inbox now saves permanently, so it stays visible after you reload the page, switch inboxes, or log back in. It is also visible to everyone in your workspace as soon as any team member downloads a track, making it easier for A&R teams to avoid downloading the same track twice. The badge has also moved to sit directly beside the favourite heart for a tidier, more consistent layout.
Bulk selection, actions, and downloads in Inbox
You can now select multiple tracks in your Inbox at once using checkboxes or by dragging across rows, then act on them all in one go. A floating action bar lets you shortlist, move, decline, or download your selection without touching each track individually. Downloading a single submission saves the file directly, while selecting tracks across multiple submissions packages everything into a timestamped ZIP.
Track titles display correctly on mobile in Inbox
Track titles in your Inbox now display properly on mobile devices instead of overflowing or getting cut off awkwardly. The track row now adjusts to fit smaller screens, with the title expanding to use the available space. On desktop, everything looks exactly as before.
Free users can now unpause a paused inbox
We fixed an issue that prevented free plan users from accessing the settings for a paused inbox. You can now navigate to your inbox settings and unpause your inbox regardless of your plan. This means you are no longer stuck with a paused inbox and no way to turn it back on.
Track row highlight now respects dark mode on mobile
We fixed a display issue where highlighted track rows in Inbox showed the wrong background color on mobile devices. The selected track now appears correctly whether you are using light or dark mode. Everything should look consistent and polished as you browse your tracks.
Stacks now appear correctly across all inboxes in the shortlist dropdown
We fixed an issue where stacks were not showing up in the shortlist dropdown for certain inboxes. You can now see and select your stacks from the dropdown no matter which inbox you are working in. This ensures a consistent experience when managing your shortlists.
Mobile-friendly track rows in Inbox
You can now browse and manage your incoming tracks comfortably on mobile. Track rows in Inbox have been redesigned with a card layout that fits smaller screens, making everything easier to read and tap. The experience now feels consistent whether you are on desktop or on your phone.
