OCTOBER 2026
Enhanced E-Signature Audit Documentation
We've improved the e-signature audit trail for contracts by displaying the consent version on the Verified by line and making signature certificate headings more prominent. These changes help you have a clearer record of which consent version was agreed to when contracts were signed, and make it easier to identify signature information in your documents.
Improved Submission Details in Decline Notifications
We've fixed an issue where decline notifications weren't showing complete information about submissions. Now when you decline a submission, you'll see both the submission title and the track name (if they differ), along with the sender's name when relevant. We also improved error messages when applications fail to submit.
Multi-Artist Contract Signing Now Available
We've added support for contracts that require signatures from multiple artists on the same deal. Labels can now send contracts that need approval from all featured artists, with each artist signing individually and seeing the progress of other signers. The system ensures the contract is only finalized once every required artist has signed.
Inbox production builds restored and new filter features now available
We've fixed a critical issue that was preventing our inbox web app from deploying to production. Additionally, we've added support for 150 new text strings that enable powerful new inbox filtering and organization features, including improved filter views, activity tracking, and stack management capabilities.
Public Inbox Descriptions Now Update Instantly
When inbox owners edit their public profile description or other details in their settings, those changes now appear immediately on the public inbox page without requiring a manual refresh. The page automatically checks for updates every 30 seconds while you're viewing it, ensuring you always see the most current information.
Spanish Translations Added to Submissions Pages
Several parts of the Submissions pages that were previously only shown in English—like chart labels, submission action menus, and the Trackstack Mobile promo—are now fully translated into Spanish and other supported languages. We also fixed some text that was hard to read in dark mode on the mobile app promotion.
Fixed sign-in code request no longer reloads the page
We fixed a bug where registered account holders trying to verify their email in the public inbox would see the page unexpectedly reload when clicking "Send me a code". The verification form now works smoothly without page refreshes, so your code arrives and the form stays intact.
Improved feedback template tracking and onboarding consistency
We've fixed an issue where feedback templates weren't being properly recorded when reviewers declined submissions. Additionally, new inboxes no longer receive duplicate default templates during setup. These changes ensure that feedback template usage is accurately tracked and your inbox starts with exactly the templates you need.
Inbox share links now work consistently across all platforms
We've fixed how inbox share links work. When you share an inbox using the short link (tstack.link/{inboxSlug}), it now always takes people directly to the inbox submission page, regardless of the domain or platform being used. The inbox Share popover has also been updated to show and copy this standardized short link format.
Demo playback no longer blocked during maintenance windows
We fixed an issue where playing a demo submission would trigger an error screen during maintenance windows, even though playback itself was working fine. Now, background telemetry operations like play tracking won't interfere with your ability to preview submissions during scheduled maintenance.
Inbox Profile Status Accuracy & Editor Navigation Improvements
We've fixed several issues with how your inbox appears to others. The inbox status badge on your profile now accurately shows whether your inbox is paused, closed outside business hours, or open for submissions—instead of always showing "Open for tracks". We've also fixed navigation in the link editor so that dismissing the preview now properly takes you back to your inbox page when editing an inbox-linked page.
Unified Profile Links with Integrated Track Submission
We've streamlined how profile pages work by consolidating multiple submission flows into a single, unified link. When you share your profile, it now includes an embedded track submission form right on the page, making it easier for people to send you tracks without navigating away. The submission sheet opens directly on the profile when accessed through your inbox link.
Improved Empty Inbox Experience with Spotlight Content
We've redesigned your empty inbox view to be more helpful and engaging. When you don't have any pending submissions, you'll now see curated spotlight content and featured tracks instead of a static dashboard. This gives you something interesting to explore while you wait for submissions to arrive.
Settings now confirm when changes are actually saved
Settings across inbox management now accurately report when changes succeed or fail. Previously, many settings displayed "Saved" regardless of whether the operation actually worked. Now you'll only see success messages when changes are truly saved, and you'll get helpful error messages if something goes wrong. Invalid data that doesn't meet requirements will be blocked from saving, and failed changes will roll back automatically.
SEPTEMBER 2026
Website Links Editor Now Available in Inbox Settings
You can now add and manage up to 20 website links directly in your Inbox settings. These links (like Beatport, Bandcamp, Tidal, or any other streaming platform) will be displayed on your public inbox profile, making it easy for people to find your music across different platforms.
Genre Visibility Control Now Fully Honored on Public Profiles
We've fixed an issue where the 'Hide genres from public profile' setting wasn't being fully respected when viewing public inbox profiles. Now when you enable this setting in your Genre Filtering preferences, your genres will be completely hidden from your public profile page, including in the shared profile data and submission form.
AUGUST 2026
Quick decline multiple tracks from the same sender
After declining a single track, you'll now see a convenient toast notification offering to decline all remaining pending tracks from that sender in one tap. This saves time when you want to quickly process multiple submissions from the same artist without manually declining each one.
Fixed: 'Liked By' filter now updates instantly when liking or unliking tracks
When using the 'Liked By' filter in your pending queue, tracks now instantly appear or disappear when you like or unlike them. Previously, the filter would show stale results until you manually refreshed or navigated away. This fix ensures the filtered view stays accurate in real-time.
Inbox performance improvements for large pending queues
We've optimized the inbox to handle large pending queues (1,000-3,000+ tracks) much more smoothly. The list now re-renders less frequently when playing tracks, selecting items, or browsing through your pending submissions. This means faster, more responsive interactions with your inbox.
Fixed pending submissions queue accuracy and selection issues
We've fixed several issues in the pending submissions queue that were causing inaccurate badge counts, stale selections after declining tracks, and occasional lost likes. Your inbox sidebar badge will now correctly reflect the actual number of pending tracks, bulk actions won't re-decline already-reviewed items, and liking tracks will work reliably without being reverted by background refreshes.
Pause and resume your inbox directly from the Pending Submissions header
You can now pause or resume your inbox with a single click from the Pending Submissions header, without navigating to Settings. When paused, your inbox will be hidden from Discover—you'll see a clear indicator and can resume instantly from the same location if needed.
Fixed detail overlays and keyboard navigation in inbox
We've fixed an issue where detail overlays (like submission tracks, contacts, and profiles) were displaying as full-screen modals instead of appearing as compact panels within your inbox. Keyboard navigation using 'j' and 'k' to move through your queue now works correctly again.
Links in Comments Now Work Properly & Improved Link Editor Layout
We've fixed an issue where URLs pasted into comments weren't becoming clickable links. We also reorganized the attachment link editor to display the Label field before the URL field for a more intuitive workflow. Additionally, links in signature blocks and templated messages now render correctly.
Labels can no longer complete a release without signing the contract
A bug has been fixed where labels using deal-flow inboxes could complete a release without the contract ever being signed. Now, when contracts are enabled, the 'Complete Release' button is hidden on the track view, and release completion can only happen through the deal drawer after the contract has been countersigned.
Release Completion Now Requires Final Files from Artist
We've fixed an issue where releases could be marked as complete before receiving the final files from the artist. Now, the system will prevent deal completion until all required final files have been submitted, ensuring a more reliable release process.
Clearer file requirements when uploading final delivery files
When uploading final delivery files (master audio, stems, or artwork) for a release deal, you now see exactly which file types are accepted and the maximum file size directly beneath the upload field. If you try to upload a wrong file type or an oversized file, you'll get an instant error message instead of waiting for a long upload to fail.
Improved Final Delivery Management for Releases
We've redesigned the final delivery process to give artists better control over their submissions. You can now remove and replace final delivery files, and delivery notes are limited to 200 characters to keep communication focused and clear. The delivery interface now displays real sender information in conversations between artists and labels.
Deal cancellation blocked after artist delivers final files
Labels can no longer cancel a deal once the artist has uploaded their final files. This protects artists who have already fulfilled their side of the agreement, preventing their delivered work from being dismissed unfairly. A clear message now explains why the cancel option is unavailable.
Contract Signing Dates Now Automatically Filled
When signing contracts, date fields marked as 'signing date' are now automatically filled with the current date and cannot be manually edited. This ensures that signing dates always match the actual signature date, preventing mismatches between when a contract was signed and what date appears on it.
Improved Deal Cancellation with Required Reason
When canceling a deal, you're now required to provide a reason that will be shared with the artist. A confirmation dialog ensures you understand that cancellation is permanent and affects all tracks on the deal. This gives artists proper explanation for why their deal was cancelled.
Deal Cancellation Now Requires Confirmation and Reason
When you cancel a deal, you'll now be prompted to confirm the action and provide a reason. This reason is shared with the artist as a public comment on all tracks in the deal, ensuring they understand why the cancellation occurred. The cancellation process is now more deliberate and transparent.
Contract revisions now fully editable and reissuable
Fixed an issue where you couldn't edit contract labels and resend revised contracts after receiving change requests from artists. Now when an artist requests changes to a contract, you can modify the contract template, update field values, and reissue the revised contract seamlessly.
Fixed issue preventing inbox submissions when opening hours are misconfigured
We've fixed a critical issue where inboxes with incomplete opening hours configuration (no days selected) would become unresponsive and prevent users from submitting content. The system now properly handles this scenario and allows submissions when opening hours are not fully configured.
Improved Contract Management and Deal Status Clarity
We've fixed several issues with how contract and deal statuses are displayed and managed. Contracts can now be properly edited when reissued, deal status labels are more accurate, and the system better handles incomplete or cancelled deals to avoid showing incorrect status messages.
Contract PDF Links Now Stay Active While You Review
We fixed an issue where contract PDF links would expire if you kept a deal or release page open for more than 10 minutes. Now, as long as you have the page open, the contract link will remain active and clickable, even if you're reading through it carefully before signing.
Fixed contract view button text visibility on hover
We fixed an issue where the 'View contract' button text would become invisible or difficult to read when you hovered over it. The button now maintains clear, readable text with improved visual feedback as you interact with it.
Fixed submission links to work correctly across different environments
We've fixed an issue where links to manage your submissions and open your inbox weren't working properly in different environments. Now when you click 'Manage Submission' or 'Open Inbox' buttons, they'll correctly direct you to the right inbox workspace regardless of which version of the site you're using.
Send and View Contracts Directly from Track Actions Menu
You can now send or view contracts directly from the track actions menu in your inbox. When a release is ready for contract, a new 'Send contract' option appears in the menu, and once a contract exists, you can quickly access it with a 'View contract' option without navigating away from your current view.
Fixed tracks-per-submission setting not persisting after refresh
We fixed an issue where your maximum tracks-per-submission setting would appear to reset after refreshing the page, even though it was actually saved. Your preference will now display correctly immediately after you set it. We also improved the player interface so tooltips display properly without being hidden behind artwork.
Fixed Inbox Public Link Sharing
We've fixed an issue where clicking the 'View Public Link' button in the inbox share dialog would result in a 404 error. The public link now opens correctly in a new browser tab, and works properly across all environment types including testing builds.
Pause Inbox Control Restored in Inbox Settings
We've fixed an issue where the Pause Inbox control was missing from your Inbox Settings. You can now easily pause your inbox to prevent new submissions and customize the message shown to senders when your inbox is paused. The Pause Message feature allows you to let submitters know why you're not accepting new tracks.
Contract Activity Now Visible in Submission Threads
Contract milestones—when contracts are sent, signed, have changes requested, and are fully executed—now appear in your submission activity feed. This gives you a complete timeline of the deal's progress alongside other interactions like comments and downloads, making it easier to track the full history of your submissions in one place.
Fixed template variable display in submission tracking
We've fixed an issue where template variables (pills) weren't displaying correctly in the template preview within the submission tracking drawer. This ensures you see accurate variable information when working with templates.
Template Variable Pills Now Available in Wave 4
We've gated the template variable pills feature behind Wave 4, our latest feature rollout. This means template variable pills (the visual elements showing {variables} like {artistName}) are now only available to users in Wave 4. Users not yet in Wave 4 will see variables as plain text in their feedback templates.
Improved Deal Review Experience with Signature Drawing and Enhanced Contract Details
We've redesigned the deal review interface to make it easier to read and interact with contracts. Artists can now draw their signature directly in the signing flow, and contract details are presented more clearly. The overall signing experience is more intuitive and matches the rest of our app's design.
Improved Comment Formatting and Offer Attachments
We've fixed how line breaks are preserved in comments and feedback messages, so your carefully formatted text will display exactly as you intended. We've also improved how offers are attached to decline messages—now when you select an offer in the decline form, it will be sent automatically with your message without requiring an extra step.
Fixed dark mode display issue in inbox track rows
We've fixed a visual issue in dark mode where the track row's left border was displaying incorrectly. Additionally, we've added a new solid button style option for better visual consistency across the inbox interface.
Fixed 'Liked By' filter staying in sync when toggling likes
When you toggled likes on tracks in your inbox, the 'Liked By' filtered queue wasn't always updating correctly. We've fixed this so that when you like or unlike a track, the filtered queue immediately reflects the change without showing stale information.
Fixed Required Field Validation for Public Submissions
We've fixed an issue where required sender fields (Instagram handle and Spotify artist ID) weren't being properly enforced when submitting to certain inboxes. Now, when an inbox owner marks these fields as required, the system will correctly validate that submissions include them before accepting the submission.
Fixed inconsistent Move-to-stack button and made it easier to access
We've fixed a bug where the 'Move to stack' button wasn't appearing consistently on all tracks, even when it should have been available. Now the button appears reliably on all eligible tracks, and on the Stack page it's been moved to a prominent position next to the Download button so it's easier to find.
